The need

Nowadays, businesses require data from various, heterogeneous systems to be available for making smart decisions. These systems need to talk together fast, and in an automated way. However, data-holding applications sometimes create isolated “islands”, separated from the rest of an organization, and the situation is further complicated by the fact that different applications use different data formats, protocols, processes, security measures, etc. This is where the MuleSoft products step in. MuleSoft and Hotovo originally started working together back in 2014, when MuleSoft had a need for more developers and knew Hotovo could offer a long-term solution that would be as effective as hiring in-house. Knowledge of the MuleSoft ecosystem is highly specific, and they were looking for an agile partner that they could trust to become experts in their own ecosystem, and become an extension of their core team.

Our solution

Hotovo has supported MuleSoft on its amazing journey from the very beginning, which has included seeing it through an IPO (initial public offering) and on to its acquisition by Salesforce. We have participated in the development of many aspects within the MuleSoft ecosystem, and delivered catalyst accelerators, connectors, recipes and custom applications.
